How do I read the status bar at the top of the Home page?
The bar at the top of Home answers one question: is my greenhouse fine right now? It has four indicators.
Before you start
Section titled “Before you start”- Role needed: any role.
- Where it is available: web, on wide screens. On a narrow phone screen the bar is hidden; the same information is in the device list and the readings below.
How to get there
Section titled “How to get there”- Sign in (see How do I sign in to my farm?). Home is the first page you see.
- At any time, press Home in the side menu. On a phone, it is in the bar at the bottom of the screen.
- Look at the bar at the very top of the page, next to the page title.

What each indicator means
Section titled “What each indicator means”The whole Home page, to see where the bar sits:

| Indicator | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Overall status | All good, Needs attention or Critical. |
| Devices online | How many devices are online out of all your devices, for example 3 / 4. |
| Active alerts | How many readings are outside the limits set in your alert rules right now. |
| Last sync | The time of the newest reading received. |
How the overall status is decided
Section titled “How the overall status is decided”- Critical (red): at least one reading is outside its alert limits.
- Needs attention (amber): no reading is out of limits, but at least one device is Offline.
- All good (green): no reading is out of limits and no device is offline.
What to do
Section titled “What to do”- Critical: open Readings and find the card that is outside its limit, then act on the cause (for example, water or ventilation).
- Needs attention: open the device list and find the device marked Offline. Check its power and Wi-Fi.
- A device that is only stale (quiet for 10 to 30 minutes) does not change the overall status yet. It counts as offline after 30 minutes.
- Active alerts counts only readings that have an enabled alert rule with a limit. A sensor with no rule is never counted.
- The bar refreshes together with the page data, about every 90 seconds.
